Personality: Most people that converse with Ami leave with one word: Bitch. Pursuit of knowledge is Ami's goal first and foremost and most of that knowledge forgoes the need for social interaction. As such she sees people as a bother and generally refuses to acknowledge their presence outside of requests to analyze something new. She'll do that in a heartbeat.

Fighting Style: Ami generally prefers to leave the fighting to those more capable than herself, but if forced into a confrontation she uses her ability to multitask and think ahead to destroy her competition with a combination of planning and genjutsu before delivering a final killing blow. While she is fully capable of using her clan's techniques, she's never been seen to use them in a combat sense.

History

Originally hailing from the village of Konohagakure, Ami was born with a proverbial silver spoon in her mouth. Being incredibly wealthy, her family attempted to have her privately tutored by one of the best shinobi in the entire village... but she refused to have anything to do with it. She didn't want to be a ninja and she was adamantly set on doing exactly the opposite of everything that was told to her.

Finally, her parents relented and instead hired one of the greatest minds of the time to tutor her in much more scholarly material, which was much more her style. She ended up being one of his greatest students ever and passed his classes with flying colors. With his avid recommendation, Ami was teamed with some of the most analytical minds in the village to work together to solve some of the village's greatest problems.

Unfortunately for the village, and perhaps the world, solving problems wasn't anywhere on Ami's agenda. She was quickly exiled from the village by her 12th birthday for committing atrocities so horrible against her fellow man that the only village willing to accept her past their walls was the village of bloody mist itself, Kirigakure. However, not even the bloodiest village could stomach her inhumane experiments and she was eventually chased out under threat of torture and death.

Not one to lay low, Ami has now come to Honegakure to peddle her intelligence, though her past has left her under Setsuna's careful scrutiny. If she wants to have any chance at keeping her home and her relationship with the village she'll have to shape up and help out.
